Meet Nurse Neal
Hi, my name is Lisa Neal and I am a proud Tioga Alumni (K-8th; prior to TISD regaining its High School). I love this school and community so much, I made it a goal to eventually return to the district as an employee. I graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and obtained my Registered Nurse Licensure in 2007. I have 10 years of experience with vast acute and chronic illness management as a former employee of Medical City Denton.
I re-entered the world of education as a school nurse for a larger district in 2017. I was welcomed back as a bulldog, to aid our Tioga Team, in the battle against Covid. I have fallen in love with the many rewards of school nursing, a few of which are: watching students grow overall year after year, building relationships with students and their families and seeing long-term outcomes from health care needs in the school.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children. I spend spare time (if that exists) with family, friends, at church activities, on the lake, and keeping up with my children's extracurricular activities and with my 2 dogs.
I look forward to working with all of our families each and every year. I will strive to do my best to serve you all with love and compassion. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
