Spinal Screening
Per Texas Department of State Health Services the following students must be screened for spinal abnormalities:
- Girls will be screened two times, once at age 10 (or fall semester of the 5th grade year) and again at age 12 (or fall semester of the 7th grade year).
- Boys will be screened one time at age 13 or 14 (fall semester of 8th grade).
